RAUN offers the opportunity to master or doctorate Catalan students of joining a prestigious international education programme to do practical research for organisations.

The Regional Academy on the United Nations (RAUN) is a non-profit international education initiative that brings together UN Organizations and outstanding Masters and PhD students. As part of the six-month-long extracurricular program, students get the opportunity to conduct hands-on research projects for the Organizations and to attend lectures and interactive workshops given by experts and practitioners. RAUN’s aim is to provide participants with in-depth knowledge and resources about the UN and their functions, to raise their cultural awareness and openness, and to offer a forum for networking and academic exchange.

This year's topic is COVID-19 Recovery: towards more resilient and inclusive solutions, with a 9-month length duration.

The sessions that will take place during these 9 months are as follows:

  • 4 main virtual sessions in May, June, September and December.
  • 2 sessions of a more social nature in June and November.
  • A final conference at the UN headquarters in Vienna in the beginning of December 2021, if the situation allows.

The deadline for submiting applications is now open for students of master and doctorate between 21 and 30 years old, ending the next 4th of April
