Are you an entrepreneur? Participate in BSEC 2024

Barcelona Student Entrepreneur Competition (BSEC) is a competition driven by Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO), the world organization of entrepreneurs.

If you are a university student and you have a startup or an entrepreneurial project, this is your great opportunity to make it known, submitting it to a jury of entrepreneurial experts, and accessing the possibility of presenting it in the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA).

GSEA is a program of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), an organization dedicated to fostering and supporting entrepreneurship based in more than 50 countries, 146 cities and with more than 12,000 members around the world.

Requirements to participate:

• You must be enrolled for the current academic year in a university or college as an undergraduate or graduate student at the time of application. Full-time enrollment is not required; part-time students are accepted.
• You must be the owner, founder or controlling shareholder of your company. the company may only be represented by the owner/co-founder who is a student-entrepreneur.
• Your business must have been in operation for at least six consecutive months prior to application.
• Your business must have generated at least EUR € 500 or received US $1000 in investments.
• You should not have been one of the competitors in the final round of any GSEA Global Final Competition in the previous year.
• The age cap for participation is 30 years of age.

Dates:

• Project reception: Wednesday, January 31
• Project selection: Friday, February 2
• Regional Semifinal: Monday, February 5
• National Final (Spain): Wednesday, February 7
