Daniel Raventós, professor of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Barcelona, and one of those responsible for having introduced the basic income proposal will be in charge of giving the conference.

The debate is part of the series of talks in the subject area of “Business and Economic Environment” that are organised by professors Jose Cabré and Joan Carles Gil of the Department of Management.

Professor Raventós will make us reflect on the possibility of implementing a universal basic income in order to eradicate poverty. The fact is that being an income that the government would unconditionally pay to all its citizens its implementation will lead to a debate full of questions.
