Barcelona School of Informatics (FIB) is the first Spanish center that offers the possibility of a comprehensive training in AI by teaching undergraduate, master's and doctoral studies in this field, sharing the teaching experience and practices with other areas of computer science.
The Degree in Artificial Intelligence (GIA), is taught at the FIB from September 2021 and seeks to provide the knowledge, skills and competences necessary to work in the field of Artificial Intelligence and its multiple applications. The study plan is adapted to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

The degree lasts 4 academic years and it comprises a 240 ECTS workload.
Full time: 20h lectures and 20h-25h personal workload per week.
Part time: 10h lectures and 10h-12.5h personal workload per week.
Subjects are delivered in Catalan, Spanish or English. Students can check related information on the website.
Target
Students who wish to study this degree must have a good scientific and mathematical background, logical reasoning skills, ability to work with abstract models and good capacity for observation, attention and concentration.
