Call for grants for startups and entrepreneurial projects promoted by students and/or recent UPC graduates

The UPC opens two new calls that will allocate up to 90,000 euros to boost the entrepreneurial talent of students and the creation of start-ups by students or 'alumni' of the University.

'Impuls UPC' is divided into two lines of aid aimed at two different groups:

Impuls UPC | Startups

The first line is aimed at recognizing a total of 8 startups formed by UPC students and/or alumni and created in the last 3 years. It aims to help finance initial expenses in the business development process. The amount allocated to this call is €60,000 in total, €7,500 for each selected company. Startups established in the years 2021-2022-2023 and that have been promoted by UPC students or alumni (maximum 3 years since the end of their studies) will be able to access this aid.

Impulse | Entrepreneurial talent

On the other hand, there are grants intended to promote entrepreneurial talent. The aim is to recognize 10 projects of students and/or recent graduates and help them finance initial costs in the process of identifying the business opportunity. It is aimed at projects that are still in their pre-constitution phase. The maximum amount allocated to this call is €30,000, €3,000 for each selected project.

UPC undergraduate, master's and doctoral students in the 2022/2023 and/or 2023-2024 academic year who are working on an entrepreneurial initiative can benefit from this aid.

Applications can be submitted from July 6 to September 24
