Service Engineering

Graduates who have specialized in this area possess all the knowledge and skills required of information systems and software designers and, in addition, are trained to design, manage, maintain and assess large-scale service systems designed and built to provide and sustain service.

They are professionals trained to work in interdisciplinary contexts, focusing on the services as a system of interacting parts that include people, technology and business. Their aim is to integrate into a coherent whole knowledges and techniques coming from other existing disciplines like computer science, economics, organizational behaviour, human resources management, operations research and others.
