Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality have a vital role in many areas of scientific research as well as in the commercial development of computer games, animations, urban design, scientific visualization, mobile technology and industrial design to name a few.
MIRI graduates specialized in Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality will have an in-depth understanding of the state-of-the-art techniques underlying advanced computer graphics with a focus on the knowledge of technology, the design of efficient algorithms, the mathematical aspects that underpin the algorithms and real-life problems. They will also master the fundamentals for starting a research career in different domains of Computer Graphics.
The professionals graduated from our program will have the skills for modeling and/or treating geometric and volumetric data, as well as for the management, manipulation, interaction and rendering of highly complex geometric systems. The program provides a technical basis in advanced computer graphics through its stimulating course set and master's projects. Course topics span from real-time computer graphics to human factors issues in virtual reality, including rendering, interaction, 3D computer graphics modeling, volume visualization, animation and virtual reality.
