6 students of the FIB in the UPC teams that have achieved gold and bronze medals at Southwestern Europe Regional Contest.
The UPC-1, UPC-2 and UPC-3 teams receive two gold medals and a bronze in 2013 SWERC competition. Students of the FIB presents in these teams are:- UPC-1: Alex Alvarez Ruiz, Darío Nieuwenhuis Nivela
- UPC-2: Enric Sánchez Cusell
- UPC-3: Andreu Mayo Casademont, Eric Milesi Vidal, Darío de la Fuente García
