Want to make a short stay in Japan?

The National Institute of Informatics (NII) from Tokyo offers the possibility of a Internship of 2 to 6 months duration.
If you are interested to go to Japan, the National Institute of Informatics offers scholarships for students of Informatics Engineering (2003 plan, five years), Master's and PhD for a research stay in many subjects.

The scholarship amount is 171,000 yen/montly (1700 USD approx.) and accident insurance.

The occupancy is 60 to 180 days and the start of the stay must be between December 2012 and March 2013.

The requirements are to be a student of the final year of Informatics Engineering (2003 plan), or master's student or PhD student, have good academic record and good level of English.

Interested persons must send your request via e-mail to vd.internacionals@fib.upc.edu with subject "Internship NII-2012 (tardor)".

Be included:

- In the text of the message, an indication of the level of English and accreditation available.

- Application form which you will find in
http://www.nii.ac.jp/Internship/Guidelines/2nd_call_of_2012_internship_webpage.html

The themes are available in "list of research topics." Must apply a maximum of 3

In the application form must also include a brief resume, or you can add a separate document (always in English).

- Motivation letter in English. This letter is very important for the final selection in the NII.

- Academic record

The deadline for applications is October 8.
