These works will affect the classrooms A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 and A6, used by the FIB, the ETSECCPB and ETSETB are included in the proceedings of BKC (Barcelona Knowledge Campus), the Campus of International Excellence.

The reforms include:

* The redistribution of 7-storey spaces to adapt the size of classrooms to the actions of smaller groups and mainstream classrooms with movable partitions.
* The replacement of the furniture modern furniture more flexible to allow different configurations of the classroom.
* Expanding the wireless network capacity and connectivity of the classroom, and installation of electrical outlets sufficient to support the model "1 = 1 student laptop"
* Installation of computer equipment support for teachers (IP phone, PC, etc.).
* Reform of the heating system in all classrooms and installation of refrigeration systems to improve environmental conditions while maintaining sustainability criteria.
* Improvements to the lighting.
* Other improvements such as adding electronic locks, improvements in emergency systems and changing the lettering of the classroom.


It is also planned during the 2010-2011 academic year to install a video conferencing classroom for each school.

With these actions is to reduce by 50% in energy consumption and improve the quality of teaching and learning spaces of the North Campus and to anticipate future needs.
