The FIB and the ETSETB have signed a Cathedra with Everis to support the innovation and promotion of the studies and professions in the TIC area.The main objective of this Cathedra will be to evaluate the situation of the TIC graduates from the UPC, their level of satisfaction and their future perspectives, and to identify the formative competences, the transversals and also the specific ones, which are more relevant in their professional exercise. The results of this study will be presented in a public act.
Among other actions, the Everis Cathedra will finance four scholarships, two of first adjudication and two rather on the renovation side, for students of the Master who need to change their residence to carry out their studies. It will grant three prizes for the students with the best academic records of the first-year studies, and will assure Everis' participation in the acts of the FIB students' associations.
This agreement will last 3 years, and will allow to reduce the gap between the academic life of the FIB and the worries and managerial initiatives of the TI sector.
