The Barcelona Supercomputing Center-National Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS) and the Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO), recognized as of worldwide prestige centers of the Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación.
The two research centers of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. BarcelonaTech (UPC) are among the eight spanish centers of excellence selected in the first edition of the Severo Ochoa, Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación.
