Jose Cabré, teacher at the Department of Business Administration has the pleasure to invite you to the first conference of the Lectures/Debate Series, which is organized in conjunction with the subjects of EEE "Empresa i Entorn Econòmic" from the Computer Science degree, and SECS, "Sostenibilitat, Economia i Compromís Social" from the Computer Science Màster.

Antonio Turiel, physicist, matematician and researcher at the Institut de Ciències del Mar del CSIC.  Creator of the well-known blog "peak Oil".  Reaching the zenith in world's oil production has put the economy to corner.  Turiel considers this fenomenon and the measures that have to be taken in order to remedy the shortage to come.
