Josep Amat, doctor engineer and professor emeritus at the Universitat Politčcnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech (UPC), has received the Honor Award granted under the "XVIII Nit de les Telecomunicacions", which took place on February 18 in Barcelona
The prize of honor, granted to Professor Josep Amat by Felip Puig, Councillor of Empresa i Ocupació of the Generalitat de Catalunya during the XVIII edició de la Nit de les Telecomunicacions i de la Informàtica that has taken place on February 18, is convened by the Associació/Col·legi d’Enginyers de Telecomunicació (CETC) y el Col·legi Oficial d’Enginyeria en Informàtica de Catalunya (COEINF). Its purpose is distinguish the person with an extensive and distinguished career related to electronics, information technology and audiovisual communication or in the technical, academic, business or institutional in the Spanish state.
