Do you want to make a short stay in Japan?

The National Institute of Informatics (NII) in Tokyo offers the possibility of an internship of 2 to 6 months.
If you are interested to go to Japan, the National Institute of Informatics offers scholarships for students of Informatics Engineering, Master and PhD for a research stay in many different subjects. You can check the specific proposals in the attached PDF.

The grant is 171,000 yen (1700 Euros. approximately) monthly, plus accident and travel insurance . The grant does not include the cost of local transportation.

The internship goes from 2 to 6 months and the beginning of your stay must be between December 2011 and March 2012.

The requirements are to be a student in the final year of the Informatics Engineering degree or in a master or in PhD, to have a good academic record and fluent in English.

The interested students must send their request by e-mail to vd.internacionals@fib.upc.edu with subject "Internship NII" specifying the topic or topics (those listed in the PDF) , their English level (and accreditation available), when they want to make the internship and a motivation letter in English.

The deadline for submitting applications is October 21.
