Jo-Philipp Wich passed career training as state certified technician
with focus on database technologies in 2009 at the DPFA University of
Cooperative Education in Leipzig. Prior to his studies he worked as
freelance software developer and technology consultant for web and
network technology, since 2009 he is employee at Bookandsmile GmbH, a
german flight fare search engine, managing data warehouse operations and
data acquisition. While attending academic high school he was heavily
involved in the Freifunk movement and the Freifunk firmware development.
Later he co-founded the LuCI OpenWrt user interface project and became
its main contributor in 2010. Jo-Philipp Wich is a core developer of the
OpenWrt project since 2009 with focus on user interface, documentation,
support and package maintenance.
