ABSTRACT
The talk will review the data analysis projects currently undergoing at the Center for Scientific and High Performance Computing at Universidad Industrial de Santander in Bucaramanga, Colombia. These include activities in computer vision, deep learning, information fusion, global navigation satellite systems and medical image analysis among others.

Raúl Ramos Pollán. Leader for Large Scal Data Analytics at the Center for Scientific and High Performance Computing at Universidad Industrial de Santander (www.sc3.uis.edu.co), in Bucaramanga Colombia. PhD in Informatics Engineering at University of Porto he has developed his career between industry and academy, as Director of the computing center at CETA-CIEMAT in Spain (www.ceta ciemat.es), Software Engineer at the European Laboratory for Particle Physics (www.cern.ch), Java Architect at Sun Microsystems Switzerland (www.oracle.com) and Software Solutions Leader at Pildo Labs (SME in aeronautics in Barcelona, www.pildo.com) before establishing in Colombia.
