Applications for the degree certificate and the Diploma Supplement

You are here

Once students have met all of the corresponding requirements, they are entitled to apply for the degree certificate and the Diploma Supplement.

The Academic Management Area, that is, the secretary's office, issues the application form, which must be checked and signed by the applicant. (It is essential that the personal details on the form be the same as those that appear on the National Identity Document or passport.) A payment form is then issued, so that the student can pay the application fee.

If the application is made by an authorised person, this person must bring the authorisation form that has been signed by the interested party and photocopies of the identity documents of the interested party and the authorised person. The Academic Management Area, that is, the secretary's office, will give the authorised person the application form so that the applicant can check it and sign it. (It is essential that the personal details on the form be the same as those that appear on the National Identity Document or passport.) The application form must bear the original signature of the interested party. (Photocopied or scanned signatures are not valid.) The authorised person must submit the original, signed application form. A payment form will then be issued, so that the application fee can be paid.

Once the fee has been paid and proof of payment has been submitted, the secretary's office will deliver the provisional degree certificate and the Diploma Supplement to the interested party or the authorised person. The provisional degree certificate is as valid as the degree certificate while the latter is being processed.
