In an effort to further encourage and strengthen the presence of women in the games industry, King in partnership with Diversi will this spring be sending 10 female students to the 2017 Game Developer's Conference in San Francisco. For anyone new to the Games Industry, this is the biggest game developer conference in the world, where professionals and students meet to learn about the latest in the industry. It's an amazing opportunity to connect, learn and get a foot into the door.

The scholarship is open for all female-identifying students, with a permanent EU residency and who's pursuing a degree and considering a future in the casual games industry.

With this we aim to provide more women with the opportunity to grow their network, exchange ideas and ease the transition from student life to work life.
