Wireless network

The UPC gives all of its staff, lecturers and students access to a wireless network service on all UPC campuses. This network is connected to the eduroam universities network.

Eduroam (education roaming) is an initiative of TERENA to boost the mobility of European researchers and students, since it offers Wi-Fi (wireless) connectivity when they move around to the other institutions that are connected to GÉANT. Thus, the users at institutions participating in eduroam also have wireless Internet access at the rest of the participating institutions.
