Do you want to spend a Research stay at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, KAUST, in Saudi Arabia?

The KAUST is offering a new Visiting Student Research Internship Program, VSRP.
The newly established Visiting Student Research Internship Program is an opportunity for exceptionally qualified baccalaureate and post-baccalaureate students to conduct research with faculty mentors in selected areas of basic and applied research projects. The duration of the program ranges from between three and six months, depending on the research project.

KAUST VSRP visiting students will receive the following:
- Academic credit
- Monthly living allowance between $800 and $1200 (based upon field of research)
- Round-trip airfare to/from city of departure-Jeddah (KAUST)
- Health insurance
- Private bedroom & bath in a shared residential suite
- Visa fees (Students must have valid passport)
- Access to community recreational resources
- Social and cultural activities

The list of labs gives some ideas of KAUST main research topics.

- Computer science for Geometric modelling and 3D Visualization
- Supercomputing initiative
- Computational Bioscience Research Center

The divisions are in charge of the educational programs. Around half of the faculty is conducting his (her) own research out of the main labs.
- Physical sciences and Engineering
- Computer, Electrical and Mathematical Sciences & Engineering
- Biological and Environmental Sciences and Engineering
