Do you want to spend a short stay in Japan?

The National Institute of Informatics (NII) in Tokyo offers the possibility of a stay of 2 to 6 months.
If you are interested in going to Japan, the National Institute of Informatics offers scholarships for students from Informatics Engineering (2003 plan, 5 years), Masters and PhD to make a research on diverse topics.

Features:
- The amount of the grant is 171,000 yen (about 1400 euros/month) with accident insurance included.
- The length of stay ranges from 60 to 180 days (including travel).
- Stay must begin before 15 March 2015.

Requirements:
- Being a student of lasts courses in Informatics Engineering (2003 plan, 5 years) or a master or doctorate student.
- Having a good academic record.
- Having a good level of English.

Procedure
The interested should send their application by email to vd.estudiantatfib.upc.edu with subject NII-2014 Spring Internship including:
- Level of English and available accreditation.
- Motivation letter in English (it is very important in the selection process).
- Application form, duly completed, http://www.nii.ac.jp/Internship/Guidelines/2nd_call_of_2014_internship_webpage.html. The application form must relate, at most, three research topics to choose from those found in the List of Research topics and should include a CV.
- Academic transcript of the program that is studying or last program studied.
- Copy of email from a supervisor of NII accepting to work with the candidate (at least attach one acceptance).

Deadline to submit the application: October 3, 2014.
