The objective of this plan is to reduce the maximum possible energy use of the unit through management measures, rationalization and reorganization.

Terms
At the end of the project will evaluate the energy savings achieved during the July-December period relative to the average of the last three years. 25% of the cost savings generated will be returned to the unit in order to be reinvested in new energy-saving measures.

Recommendations and measures being assessed to reduce energy consumption.

Structural

• Sectorization of the lights in the common areas.
• Rational use of lights in the hallways.
• Placing timed light switches in certain areas
• Installing on the classroom PC computing software for energy savings.
• Close the computer rooms where there is no class, if they have low occupancy.
  

Sensibilization

• Turning off air conditioning / heating in common areas of transit.
• Rationalization of the opening hours and closing the building.
• Closing fire doors giving access to stairs.
• Optimization of printing costs.
• Turn off unneeded servers during the month of August.
• Close the building during the month of August.
