Specific requirements The Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence encourages university and postgraduate students to participate in research. Students come from electronic engineering or computer science, mechanical engineering, aeronautics, cognitive science, mathematics, linguistics, environmental science or philosophy degree programmes will be able to increase their knowledge in certain areas of ICT that will be of use in their professional careers.
Students with a four-year (or more) bachelor's degree closely related to computer science can start in the third semestre (S3), which is the basic educational core of the master's programme. Students who have completed at least three years of a bachelor's degree related to computer science can continue their education within the master's programme and complete the subjects they need to obtain the bachelor's degree. In such a case, the master's dissertation will be accepted in place of the final project of the bachelor's degree, so the students will receive two degrees (bachelor's and master's) upon finishing his/her courses. This integrated master's degree system is similar to those in place in other countries.
