Admissions

General requirements
  • Holders of university degrees and diplomas.
  • Students currently in the first or second cycle who have not completed all of their courses:
    • They must have completed three academic years and a minimum of 180 ECTS credits of the current syllabuses.
    • The credits they have completed must include all core subjects of the current first cycle of official university education.
    • The field of the first cycle must correspond with the specific admissions conditions for the master’s degree.

Specific requirements

Students with a four-year (or more) bachelor's degree closely related to computer science can start in the third semester (S3) and finish the master's degree with 60 ECTS credits. Students who have completed at least three years of a bachelor's degree related to computer science can continue their education within the master's program and complete the subjects they need to obtain their bachelor's degree. In such a case, the master's dissertation will be accepted in place of the final project of the bachelor's degree, so the student will receive two degrees (bachelor's and master's) upon finishing his/her courses. This integrated master's degree system is similar to those in place in other countries.
The programme is also open to students from programmes in mathematics, statistics or other fields of engineering who want to increase their knowledge in certain areas of ICT that will be of use in their professional careers.
