Call for volunteers! womENcourage 2017, Barcelona, September 2017

ACM Europe Celebration of Women in Computing, womENcourage 2017 is a scientific event, as well as an event aimed at networking and exploring career opportunities for women in computer science and related disciplines. This
conference brings together undergraduate and graduate students, as well as researchers and professionals, to present and share their achievements and experience in computer science.

The job assignments for student volunteers include assisting with hackathon, workshops, career fair, technical sessions, social events, checking badges at doors, operating the information desk, helping with traffic flow, preparing
the contents of the conference bags, and general assistance to keep the conference running smoothly.

A Student Volunteer should:

• Accept the commitment
• Be enthusiastic and highly motivated
• Be fluent in English, which is the language of the conference,
• Be reliable, punctual and organized.

In return, volunteers are granted free access to the activities of the conference.

UPC Bachelor students also have the possibility of recognition of 2 ECTS credits at the Facultat d'Informàtica de Barcelona, if you have passed a minimum of 90 ECTS in your degree.
